Waltham, Mass., geology/geography group includes published and unpublished papers about the topic and books and pamphlets describing Waltham, Watertown, and Middlesex County geology and Waltham's flora, including scrapbook of pressed sea-plants prepared by Dr. J. George Edward Morris was born in England, February 25, 1853, and died at Waltham, Massachusetts on July 5, 1916. Mr. Morris was interested in all phases of natural science. He became especially interested in botany through his art work and the use of plants as a basis for design.
